  The procedure primarily involves draining blood from the circulatory system and injecting embalming fluid to preserve the body.

• In cases where the remains have been damaged due to accidents or other causes, professional restoration of the remains is also conducted.

• International air transport coffins are made of metal (zinc) and are sealed to meet international epidemic prevention requirements to prevent contagion (quarantine).

• The outer packaging of the coffin is secured with wood, and all wood used for packaging must comply with quarantine standards.

  To prevent smuggling and other issues, embassy staff and customs health quarantine officers are present to oversee the sealing of the coffin.
